  The recent escalation of the digital tools and skills in teaching and learning reinforces the need for robust scholarship in this aspect of medical education. The ASME Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) SIG held a one-day online network event on Monday 28th March to provide the opportunity for ASME members to explore some of the many aspects of digital teaching and learning, and identify key areas that need further scholarship to benefit medical education.
